Two young women Iris(Kate Winslet)and Amanda (Cameron Diaz) decide to swap homes for the holiday season to get over their bitter relationships.
Amanda finds love in Graham who is the brother of Iris, a widower with two girls. The confidence of Iris is boosted up by her new neighbor, Arthur who is an elderly gentleman and an Oscar winning screen writer. she too finds love in Miles who visits Arthur’s house.
The end of a relationship is not the end of the world. We have to pick ourselves up and carry on with grace and dignity and these two beautiful women show us just how to do it.
