Mia Thermopolis (Anne Hathaway) is a shy and clumsy teenager who suddenly discovers that she is the heir to the throne of Genovia. Her grandmother, Queen Clarisse (Julie Andrews) grooms her into a confident, smart and good looking young woman who is fit to take on the tittle.
Despite of her new lifestyle and status, Mia continues to be compassionate and empathetic which is a lesson for some of us who forget our roots.
A change in lifestyle need not mean a change of heart.
